LAB with Oreet Ashery
The Comedy Lab was facilitated by Oreet Ashery and Simon Poulter in October 2011 at Chalkwell Hall. Participating artists were Caroline Smith, Mem Morisson, Owen Parry, Scottee and Oriana Fox. During the week each of the artists developed new project ideas within a peer development environment. Visiting guests and comedians talked about their work including Simon Munnery, Alex Horne, Shaista Aziz and Markus Birdman.
Work in progress was presented to a number of invited guests and several of the projects have already gone into development.
