Alan Dunn

Alan Dunn studied at Glasgow School of Art and Art Institute of Chicago and develops projects in which communities, students and professionals present work together, including Bellgrove Station Billboard Project (Glasgow 1990-91), tenantspin (FACT, Liverpool 2001-7) and his recent PhD on sound art at Leeds Beckett University, The sounds of ideas forming. He lives in Merseyside and has exhibited at ICA, Tate Britain, National Science & Media Museum and Liverpool Art Prize. During his residency with Metal Liverpool, he will create a sustainable ‘Future Billboard’ exploring how speculative developments in technology, health and economy will impact upon the people of Wavertree.
