Beverley Bennett is an artist-filmmaker. Her practice revolves around the perpetual possibilities of drawing, performance and collaborative experiments with sound. Bennett’s work has been shown nationally and internationally; venues include the National Gallery of Jamaica Kingston, Encounters Short Film Festival Bristol, and New Art Exchange Nottingham .As part of the residency with Metal Liverpool, Bennett will continue to work around themes highlighted in her short film ‘Amine’. This project connects with local BAME women’s’ groups to develop and collaborate in a series of workshops.
