Carl Harrison

Having performed all over the shop from Shanghai to Skegness, Carl is beginning to make his own work with a sickening mixture of angst and self belief.

This residency will be a falling off point for a piece about the end of the world, blame culture, lessons from the past, queer ecology and the ageing gay judged through the narrow lens of a daytime chat show hosted by self titled ‘Oprah of the North’ Gillian Blades.

His work draws upon his real loves; dance, the voice, pop songs, dreaded audience interaction, sex or the lack of it, cheap wigs and self deprecation to investigate whether there is any light at the end of our collective tunnel.

Everyone is invited.
