Laura Pullig

Laura is a visual artist working with new media and electronics, based in Liverpool. Her work studies how we can use technology to re-enchant people with nature. Through sculpture and experimentation using simple electronic circuits she visualises the interactions of living systems. Her work is often made for the public realm, using digital and analogue technologies to interact with people and the environment where it is installed.

She uses materials and techniques from e-textiles to build handmade sensors for use in her artworks, which are tactile and respond to input such as touch and environmental changes such as heat, wind and rain.

Laura works with people running workshops and projects that use art and technology to engage people with science and nature.
