Freelands Foundation Emergency Fund
Available to : Freelance creative practitioners based in England and Northern Ireland who work in the visual arts and are experiencing severe financial hardship due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Support available : Up to £2,500
Deadline to apply : Applications open between Thurs 7 May and Thurs 18 June. Decisions are made on a weekly basis.
Disability Arts Online : New Commissions
Available to : Disabled artists based in the UK
Support available : 3 different commission opportunities – Artist Presentations (£200 fee), Day in the Life Articles (£120 – 150 fee), Open Commissions (£50 – 500 fee)

The BFI: Tv and Film Emergency Fund
Available to : Freelancers working in TV and Film. Open to those working in production, distribution and exhibition.
Support available : TBC
Deadline to apply : Ongoing – he individuals criteria and level of individual funding is currently being decided. To be the first to hear when the fund launches, applicants should register for the charity’s mailing lists.
Help Musicians Coronavirus Financial Hardship Fund
Available to : Professional working musicians (performers, composers, producers) who are self employed in need of financial help, not currently in futher or higher education.
Support available : £500 grant
Deadline to apply : Application forms open now – Ongoing
Support for Theatre Professionals
Available to : Anybody in the theatre industry, including actors, dancers, producers, ushers and backstage staff.
Support available : Links to various grants, kickstarters and advice which you can apply for. Links include £200 grants from Actors’ Childrens’ Trust to support children’s costs, Funds for Freelancers kickstarter who are inviting freelancers to reach out for financial support, The Theatrica Guild offering financial support and advice to front of house staff / theatre ushers, Stage One offering advice to emerging theatre producers.

Film & TV Charity financial support
Available to : Freelancers working in film/tv who are in immediate financial distress
Support available : Up to £500 grant
Deadline to apply : Application forms open now – Ongoing
Heritage Fund for organisations
Available to : Organisations delivering heritage projects or previously funded projects, or to safeguard heritage sites which HLF have previously invested in, to ensure they are not lost to the public.
Support available : £3000 – 50,000 grants
Deadline to apply : Applications open now – Ongoing
Thurrock – Volunteer Sector / Cultural Funds
Available to : Community groups, positively support communities, and to support artists and cultural organisations.
Support available : Small grants
Deadline to apply : 25 May
Future Fund
Available to : UK-based companies can now apply for support in continued growth and innovation within sectors as diverse as technology, life sciences and the creative industries and to help them through the Coronavirus outbreak.
Support available : convertible loan of between £125,000 and £5 million
Deadline to apply : Now open (from 20 May – No deadline as of yet)
Constellations : Artist Development Programme
Available to : Free programme for eight UK-based artists to explore socio-political issues, community-oriented practice, and public contexts.
Support available : Schedule of free artist-led workshops from July 2020 and February 2021 and travel expenses.
Deadline to apply : 7 June
