Are you prepared?
Open Zoom Chat with Tim Casson
Thursday 4th March 6:30-8pm
How prepared would you feel in the event of an emergency?
Has the pandemic affected this?
Do you have more tins of beans or toilet rolls in your cupboard these days?
Join Metal Artist in Residence, Tim Casson (Casson & Friends) for an informal chat about the things that have been keeping us going in these tricky times, and what might help us in future to not just survive, but thrive!
This chat will feed into Tim’s new work ‘PREPPERS’, a documentary dance work, exploring how we prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergency situations.
No specific knowledge is necessary, just bring your cup of tea, a dash of curiosity, and come ready to chat!
About Tim: Tim Casson is a choreographer, educator and performer, creating for theatre, public, unusual and online spaces. With his company, ‘Casson & Friends’, Tim brings together diverse collaborators including composers, computer programmers, psychologists, and often the public – to create ‘People Powered Performance’ that is accessible, interactive, joyful, and often starts with a conversation.
The company creates work for theatres, public, unusual and online spaces; often using technology within and around their work to create innovative and meaningful ways for people to engage with and enjoy dance. The work strives to be accessible to everyone, celebrating the creativity within us all, and helping people feel part of something bigger.
