Poland-based dance artists Dominika Feiglewicz and Patrycja Jarosinska have been in residence at Metal, creating a new dance work for camera.
On Wednesday 6th July at 7pm, they’ll be sharing an extract from a piece of work they have previously made, ‘Sisterhood’, which has been informing their residency,
‘Sisterhood’ is a theatrical and dance meeting of two women, hearing and deaf, who using the new language of theatre want to raise questions around femininity. The strength and independence they have, and how they fight for it. The performance ‘Sisterhood’ shares their own experiences and provokes conversation about the relationship between women and the world around them.
After the performance there will be a discussion with the performers and an opportunity to hear about the project they have been working on whilst in Peterborough.
If you’d like to come along email Jack@metalculture.com or book your place by clicking here.
