Take time out of your busy festival schedule and pop into café valise for cake, tea / coffee and perhaps a have a go at different drop-in workshops. There will also be a number of craft and art stalls for you to browse.
All materials are provided as part of the workshops but we recommend getting there early so you don’t miss out. If you are attending the insect hotel workshops materials are provided but please feel free to bring along old wooden strawberry / fruit boxes, twigs, bamboo canes, fir cones etc that you can build into your insect hotel.
At midday and 2pm Jeni Cairns will be running drop in insect hotel workshops. Young people must be accompanied by an adult. Please do feel free to bring objects along to help make your insect hotel – for example small wooden strawberry / veg boxes.
You can also have a go at various crafts throughout the afternoon, helping the amazingly creative members of Handmade in Peterborough make their festival yarn bomb – even if it’s just making a garden inspired pom-pom.
