7th March, 11.30am – 2.30pm
Peterborough Town Hall, Bridge Street, Peterborough, PE1 1HF
Metal is inviting those who identify as female from across Peterborough to come together and talk about what’s important to them. It’s part of a city-wide project called Consequences that brings together different groups of women, sharing and passing conversations between groups to create a stronger picture of the female voice for the city.
Join Metal and artist Kate Genever for a chance to come together, chat and draw in this open workshop as part of Peterborough Women’s Festival. Within the workshop we will discuss the consequences of NOT coming together as women, about our lives, our families, our communities etc.
Participants will be supported to draw and doodle their responses to conversations on sheets of paper which will be passed between groups, adding and layering responses as we go. You don’t have to be good at drawing to take part. It’s about the conversations we have together as we draw, doodle and colour collectively.
No need to book, drop in and see us anytime between 11.30am – 2.30pm at The Peterborough Town Hall.
