From 15 September, the anniversary of the first ever passenger railway journey, Metal will present Bill Morrison‘s newly commissioned film accompaniment to Steve Reich’s Different Trains at Edge Hill station.
This poetic new film installation will be created from archival film stock depicting train journeys spanning America and continental Europe during WWII.
The film installation will be open Monday to Saturday, 10am to 6pm. Access is from platform 1, and is free.
