Future Network ‘Art Quiz’: a ‘pub quiz’ style twist of our regular networking evening for creative people working in any artistic discipline.

Join us for a pub style ‘art quiz’, where guest artists put their spin on the night, deciding the rounds and themes of the evening; it’s a quiz that offers some light hearted fun, still with a chance to meet other creatives and hear about up coming opportunities.

Each evening will include an invited guest host. For this Future Network we welcome artist, writer and performer Talia Randall, for her quiz ‘Not Your Average Game Show’.

Anarchic, silly and definitely not safe for prime time TV ‘Not Your Average Game Show’ doesn’t care about your general knowledge or whether or not you can do anagrams under a giant clock.

Games include who can write the funniest complaint letter to Boris Johnson, interpretative dance to the nation’s favourite theme tunes and a cut-throat pun competition.

All you need to bring is a little curiosity. Come as a team or be allocated one when you arrive.

Plus, we still have our regular 10 x 3 Minute Wonder open mic spots – open to any artist, designer, performer or other creative who would like to talk about their work, practice or current projects. If this sounds like you and you would like to book your slot, please email us via ruth@metalculture.com

6pm: Doors / Bar open

6.15pm: Quiz starts

8.45pm onwards: Drinks and Networking

Who is Talia Randall?

Talia Randall makes and curates riotous cabaret, bold poetry and joyous theatre. Often acting the chaotic clown on stage, once you scratch the surface you’ll find work that is political, personal and provocative.

An artist, writer and dyslexic with a growing following, her work has been called “sublime” (dig.com),“distinctive” (The Upcoming) and “fascinating” (Sabotage Reviews).

As well as gigging solo across the UK at legendary venues such as The Roundhouse, Wales Millennium Centre, Bristol Old Vic, Glastonbury and The Edinburgh Fringe, Talia also creates and hosts playful, political variety shows featuring some of the UK’s most innovative and daring artists.
