Help programme Peterborough Pride LGBTQIA+ Youth Cafe

Opening: 09/04/19 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM | Free

Are you between the age of 11-19: LGBTQIA+ (or questioning): live locally and have an interest in doing something during Peterborough Pride week? Would you like to be involved with a small group of other like-minded people to programme events, workshops and activities as part of the festival?

Peterborough Pride has been successful with their application to the Lottery to get some cash to organise events specifically for younger people. Each day over the Pride week (28th June – 5th July 2019), arts organisation Metal will be hosting an LGBTQIA+ youth café in the city centre, and we need your help to programme the space with exciting activities. This could be anything from a performance or film screening through to a make-up workshop or gaming session.

So if you are interested, please come and join us on Tuesday 9th April from 4pm – 6pm at Metal, Chauffeurs Cottage, St Peters Road, Peterborough, PE1 1YX. Refreshments will be provided.

To find out more please contact Ruth@metalculture.com or Jenny Weeden 07920160044.
