Permaculture at Metal – Free Course

Introduction to the Principles of Forest Gardening
and Permaculture

We are pleased to offer this FREE course to Liverpool residents to come and learn about permaculture, its principles and how to put them into practice using Edge Hill Station garden as a basis for learning. The course will be taught by Tomas Remiarz, a nationally renowned permaculture teacher.

You will learn:

•       What permaculture is and why it is important
•       Applying this to your own garden or allotment
•       How to grow food successfully and ethically
•       Ways you can encourage nature
•       How to get involved in volunteering at the Metal garden

The course will take place at Edge Hill Station Garden, just off Tunnel Road, L7 6ND

Dates and times: Tuesday 11th July 4-8.30pm and Tuesday 10th October 2-6.30pm

All materials and tools will be provided

To apply, please write up to 100 words of why you would like to join the course and get involved in the Metal, Edge Hill Station Garden volunteer programme.

About Tomas Remiarz:

Tomas Remiarz has been involved in creating and maintaining forest gardens across the UK and Europe for nearly 20 years. He is currently involved in a sustainable rural housing project project on a 7-acre site in Herefordshire. As a founder member of the Permaculture Association’s research advisory board he is particularly interested in studying polycultures and has produced several reports on the subject. www.reallifeforestgardens.com
