As part of their project ‘New Henge Heritage’ Arianne Churchman and Chloe Langlois invite you to discover new relics to feature in their final performance film.

Dressed as Knight Errors artists Chloe and Arianne invite you to a workshop at The Green Backyard to help them discover new relics. With the discovered relics participants will be asked to create legends and mythical stories around them. Arianne and Chloe will be filming these wonderful new tales and the stories will feature in their final performance film screened at Metal on 8th June.

This workshop is an open drop-in throughout the day. Young people aged under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

About New Henge Heritage:
You may or may not have noticed The Peterborough Stone; a tiny Neolithic standing stone sitting on the lawn outside the museum. Arianne Churchman and Chloe Langlois’ ‘New Henge Heritage’ project aims to shift people’s relationship with this small but ancient monument by creating two performative ‘living’ stone circles and a somewhat mind-bending film. There will be a number of creative workshops you can take part in to contribute to this project. The final performance will take place at the Green Backyard’s May Day celebrations on Saturday 6th May.

Location:

The Green Backyard
