Thursday 1st December
6.30 – 9pm
Peterborough City Gallery and Museum
Join us for an evening of convivial local storytelling, food and drink.
With climate change becoming an ever increasing cause for concern ‘Think Water’ takes place in a mock courtroom where local groups and organisations, such as the NFU, Natural England and The Great Fen Project and Angling Trust share their experiences of water usage, the flood/drought nexus and the future of the Fens. There will be the opportunity to ask questions and sharing your own experiences with your community, while also learning about how Peterborough and the Fenlands can help each other in the future.
The evening of entertainment, for all of the community, will take the form of a mock court room, involving an advisory jury made up of young people. Court-artists, a musician, a caricaturist, a poetic judge and some good food promise to make this a lively and fun-filled evening of community, music, stories and laughter.
As part of the event, we also invite you to join us for a communal meal of locally sourced produce.
