For all you ethically-minded foodies out there, take a walk on the wild side with chef Lee Clarke (Clarkes Restaurant / Café Clarkes) and forager David Radley (Nene Park Trust). David will be running two 1.5 hour wild food foraging walks around the city, collecting ingredients you might never have thought of. Lee will be on hand at Chauffeurs Cottage cooking up a storm and demonstrating lots of lovely recipes you can make using foraged food from the PE postcode.
David Radley Biog:
David is a self-taught forager who has been foraging for a number of years and is willing to taste almost anything, at least once! He believes that foraging is a great way to get closer to nature and the best way to keep the weeds down in your garden, you just eat them!
David works for Nene Park Trust as Visitor Services Manager. Nene Park Trust incorporates Ferry Meadows, Thorpe Meadows, Orton Mere and Woodston Reach, Ailsworth, Castor & Sutton. They provides visitors with a range of opportunities for relaxation and recreation in a wide variety of landscapes and wildlife habitats throughout the sites.
Lee Clarke Biog:
Lee Clarke is partner and head Chef at Clarkes Restaurant Peterborough.
