x4 workshops, 28th Sept, 5th, 12th, 19th October

Art’s organisation Metal with artist Sa’adiah Khan, will be hosting a series of ‘Wonder Women’ creative art workshops at Allama Iqbal centre (Gladstone connect) on Tuesdays from the 28th of September until the 19th of October from 12.30am – 2.30pm.

During these workshops you will get introduced to a range of materials and artform such as learning how to make string art, ombre painting on canvas, doodling/mandala, block printing and working collaboratively whilst also helping to inform what you might like in your area.

The first session will be an informal meet & greet with an introductory creative ‘String art & decoupage’ workshop. This session will be a chance to meet the artist, chat to other women, share conversation and help to decide the structure of the following 3 workshops whilst experimenting with various forms of art making!

“These sessions have given me the opportunity to have open and safe conversations with other woman, while being creative and making.”

“These activities provided us with a good balance of creative activities and connect with other woman”
