A group of first year Fine Art students from Liverpool John Moores University have come together to create an exhibition for Metal. Detournement explores a variety of themes through film, painting and photography aiming to provide a platform for ideas concerning the subversion of mainstream culture. This is part of a project that Metal has been working on in collaboration with Liverpool John Moores University allowing the students to develop their studio practice within the public realm.
