The artist Joanna Sperryn Jones came back last week for another few days of residency at Chalkwell Hall to work with a PhD student from the University of Kent, Sophia Ppali, on developing her new app for NetPark.

The app will be a collaborative app using AR (Augmented Reality) exploring the trees in Chalkwell Park.

Created as a collaboration between artist Joanna Sperryn Jones, The Universities of Kent and Essex and Metal, and funded through Research England via an EIRA grant, this will be the first AR (Augmented Reality) app for Metal’s world’s first digital park which was started in 2015!

The app will be launched later this year. To sign up for our newsletter, head over to the home page.
