Did you know that each year Metal have two opportunities for artists to apply for one of our Time & Space Residency places – to spend time at one of our sites in Southend, Peterborough, or Liverpool?
This opportunity gives creatives of ALL disciplines much needed peace & quiet in a supportive artistic environment to work on new projects – whether it be brainstorming, plotting, writing, workshopping, rehearsing, creating, making, editing, redrafting, filming, recording, trialling, or even just having some much needed thinking time, outside of the many demands of working or family life.
While here, artists get as much support as they would like; feedback and sounding boards with staff, a chance to show work in progress or share their creative practice at one of our many events, or simply to be left alone to get on with it!
