About:

Liverpool African Diasporic Filmmakers Network

The Liverpool African Diasporic Filmmakers Network is a collective of filmmakers from the African Diaspora that centre Black identity in their work. Liverpool with a history of diversity, protest, slavery and incredible cultural production acts as a point of departure to engage the many facets of our identities. With the support of Metal Culture we intend to offer educational support to Black Liverpool filmmakers through workshops, discussions, hands on filmmaking experience, opportunities to show work throughout the city and nationally, feedback on work and collectivity that provides foundational support to cultivate ideas and imaginings.
