Richard Cramp

Richard Cramp is a visual artist based in London. His work is influenced by architecture, structures within societies, science fiction and the processes and materials used in construction. He produces installations, sculptures and photographic collages that comment on utopian ideals, capitalist issues, and society’s coping mechanisms for a world in flux. For his residency in Peterborough, Richard will explore the building of a community from the bricks to the social structures, and the impact that industry (from brick production to eco energy harvesting) has on the land.
