Zhuozhang Li

Zhuozhang Li is a Ph.D. candidate at the Centre for Architecture and the Visual Arts (CAVA), University of Liverpool; he is an transdisciplinary urban researcher, whose research and practices are established at the intersection of urban studies, visual cultural studies and critical spatial theories. He graduated from Sheffield School of Architecture with an MA in Urban Design (distinction) in 2016. His CSC & UoL co-funded doctoral research focuses on the (re)production of everyday urban space in Hong Kong. 


Alongside research, his recent artistic and/or curatorial practice includes residency programme ‘Knowledge is Power (2020, Tate Exchange Liverpool)’, group exhibition ‘LOOK Photo Biennial / Satellite (2019, Open Eye Gallery)’ and research exhibition ‘Wandering through the Newspaper (2018, Guangzhou)’.
