As part of BFI special film event ‘Green Light: An immersive focus on Climate Change‘, Nine Earths will be presented at BFI Southbank.
For one week, BFI will build a bridge between BFI Southbank in London and Glasgow, to remind us that climate change is not only about science, it’s really about stories and the people behind it.
Invite from BFI:
“Over the last few years, immersive storytelling has changed the way we can engage with certain topics. Taking the UN Climate Change Conference as a reminder for what’s at stake for humankind, for one week from 31 October we’ll build a bridge between BFI Southbank in London and Glasgow, to remind ourselves that climate change is not only about science, facts and numbers, it’s really about stories and the people behind it. We invite you to come down to BFI Southbank and immerse yourselves in these powerful stories and gain some insight into what’s at risk.”
The event opens to the public every day 12-9 pm from 31 October to 7 November with FREE entrance. However, it is worth noting that due to limited capacity, entry is on a first come, first served basis.
